DIY Plushie

Hi guys, this blog post isn't a tutorial it's intended to share with you guys my new loved hobby. Once I find a new hobby that I get super hooked onto, I find myself spending my days away on that hobby. I'm sure some of you guys are the same; like some guys gaming, they just can't put the controller down. Well for this hobby, I couldn't put my sewing needle down. I basically get lost in my hobby world and forget what's going on around me. This only takes someone with some basic sewing skills by hand and know how to make or find plushie patterns online to get started.
These are so worth making, it takes about 1-3 hours to make a plushie depending on level of difficulty and the detailings but once you finish these little guys you feel a surge of success and happiness. You can buy the materials all from dollar store except for the stuffing which you can buy from a craft store. The felt pieces approx 30cmx20cm cost about $0.56 with tax and it's enough to make 2 mochi plushies. The cost of making one plushie isn't a lot but it may cost you some money to start but if you decide to make a bunch of plushie it's not going to cost that much overall. You may also be able to buy a pillow that uses stuffing and you can take it apart which is what I did since I got the pillow for free from Leon's giveaway around Christmas time and it was just sitting around. Have fun trying this out! Pictures below.
This is the first plushie I made and it's great for starters. You can easily find templates and tutorials of this. Isn't he so cute?
I'm a sushi fan so I had to make and add him to my collection
I made this one for my little cousin.

Influenster Voxbox Garnier Frutis Damage Eraser

Hey guys,

This is a late post but I would love to share what I received from influenster on valentines day. I got a big white box in my mail with Garnier written on it and right away I knew it was the mystery brand reveal which I guessed correctly. It was such a great surprise to get it in time since I hadfinished the sample sized products.

A week before I received the full size products I was sent 3 small sample sized products to try out and guess the mystery brand. I fell in love with the smell instantly since it reminded me of candy or bubble gum and it really suited my lifestyle. After a few usage I could tell the product quality was great like some salon brand since it left my hair feeling and looking healthier. These products are perfect to be used especially in this cold winter seasons which my hair tend to be more damaged from excessive hair blow drying. I was only expecting 3 full sized products so when I saw a fourth full sized product which is a bonus definitely made my day even better.

I'm really fortunate I got qualified for this garnier mystery brand program since I got to try 2 new products I never thought of ever buying. I look forward to seeing great results with repairing more of my split ends and changing up my hair care routine to erase the damage in my hair! Thanks influenster and garnier for the complimentary products.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure #CSMTKO Influenster Voxbox

Wow so happy that I qualified for my second canadian voxbox I didn't get the confirmation email till the day I received it. It came in a white plain box without their usual Influenster logo so I definitely got a nice surprise when I opened it up.
It has 7 benefits in one bottle so I thought it was great value given the price of a bottle and they have a nice range of colours to choose from.

7 Benefits are:
- base coat
-top coat
- strengthener
-colour
-growth treatment
-chip-resistant
-gel shine

When I received it all 3 bottles were frozen due to the freezing weather here in Ontario, Canada so I had to wait till they all defrosted to try out the nail polish. I was so excited to try them out influenster picked out some nice colors, my favourite one is the jaded color I love the minty look of it.

When it finally defrosted and I was ready to get painting I realized that it was a flat styled brush and I was worried it would be hard to use it.

Fortunately the way the brush was shaped it made application easier. I find that you will need at least 2 layers of the nail polish since one layer is not opaque. The drying time is also a bit slow if u apply multiple layers so if you are in a hurry I don't suggest you to apply it. It didn't start chipping till 3-4th day but it varies between each person depending on your lifestyle. It does have a nice shiny gel like finishing but it doesn't have the plasticky feel like gel nails which I didn't mind. Overall it's a great nail polish and yes I would recommend this product.

Here's a picture of the jaded nail polish with some pearls and a bow deco:

imPRESS Press-on Manicure Review

This is another free product I received with my influenster maple voxbox. I have never purchased this product before since I have my own gel nail kit. After trying out the product I actually fell in love with how quick and easy it is to put on, as advertised it only take a few minutes to glam up your nails. You clean your nails with the alcohol wipes provided in the kit choose the right size nails then peel off the film and gently stick on each nail. Yes it's that simple! I had it on for a few days now and it is still sticking on pretty tightly seems to be a good valued product for the price since it retails for $10-$12.

Here are some pictures...

The cute packaging:
Includes an alcohol wipe and a mini file to prep your nails

Here is the finished product of my nails:

Big Bold NYC Look Review

After a year of signing up to influenster I finally waited for this moment, I feel so fortunate when I got qualified for the first influenster Canadian voxbox. One of the items I received was a full size NYC big bold look mascara. It was really simple to apply, not chunky like other mascara brands I have used in the past and it does make my super short eyelashes look a little longer. I really love how it gives volume and length too so it helps enlarge my eyes a bit. The retail price is $4.99 which is a pretty affordable and yes I would recommend this product since I think that it has great value for the price.

Here is a before and after picture, the quality isn't the best since it's a screen shot from my instagram account cause I couldn't save the picture on my laptop to upload it but hopefully this helps you guys make your decision before purchasing this product.

New Coach Purse

Happy Labor Day guys :) This weekend me and my family made a trip to Michigan for a one night stay. I initially didn't plan on going with my family since I have a mini shopaholic problem where I just end up buying at least one thing each time I shop. Well lately I have been trying to fix my purse collection and bought 10 purses in August before my trip then I ended up buying my 11th purse during my school break... Girls I have like no self control when it comes to shopping lol

So on Day 1 when I found out there was a coach outlet at Birch Run I had to make a trip in there. Take note that I don't really buy coach as it is a lower end brand since I prefer saving up for the higher end purses. I mainly like to look more than I buy since if I bought everything I looked at and loved I would probably be bankrupted. Anyways I saw this pink purse in the clearance section of Coach store that I really liked a lot so I was walking around the store with it while I did more shopping. It was retailed around $330US after all the discount with tax it would cost around $96US, what a great deal ?!?! Well I ended up not buying it as I already bought 10 purses and I have another branded purse that was kind of similar so I put the purse back and walked out without buying anything. Luckily on Day 2 before we head back home my grandma had to exchange her flats so I decided to check out the coach outlet thinking they may have new items out and they did !! As you guys can see I didn't walk out of coach again empty handed woot!!

I had to buy this purse since I'm really loving the hobo style purse and I don't have any metallic silver in my purse collection so it was a must have. I see people trying to sell this same bag on eBay for $150-180US but I had gotten this bag for $86US. If I convert this back to Canadian as of the exchange rate yesterday it is probably around $93CAD which is pretty cheap for me since I don't think I can find such a deal in Canada. The retail is $278US+6% tax +exchange rate which would be around $318CAD so this is a great deal to me!

Here is the lovely bag! It is my second coach bag I bought for myself not sure if I will be buying another coach bag anytime soon since I have other brands I want to buy instead.

I love the pink fabric of the inside of my bag!!

Other things I bought:

Spent around $200US in total since everything is just so much cheaper and I find better deals compared to my home town :)

What do you guys think of my new coach bag ?
