First EBay Haul Review

Woot I finally decide to compile all my mini purchases from Ebay together and do a review as they are all from different sellers and takes awhile to receive the products usually ranges from 2-4 weeks. I have been buying on eBay for years but never really shared much about my purchases with online readers so this will be my first eBay haul review :) I will list the store I got each product from and the price I paid at the time of purchase in US currency as each time the currency exchange rate was a bit different so hopefully this will help you guys and enjoy!

My lovely Ebay Haul:

I have made a previous post about my gel nail kit I bought and I found these nail tips on ebay so I thought I could do my own french manicures. Comes in 10 sizes and 50 pieces in each size so a total of 500 nail tips for a really good price.
Price: $2.24
Nail clipper for my manicures.
Price: $1.37

Its cheap and it works for me! This is a great, quick and easy facial hair plucker for the females.
Price: $1.16
The tear drop makeup sponge blender was getting trendy and saw this selling at local stores for $10 but found it for a lower price on ebay!
Price:$1.18US
Can't wait till winter to wear this cute bunny ear hat!
Price: $3.19 AU
Saw Liddy from Bubzbeauty wearing one of these and I thought they were so cute so I immediately went to search for one on ebay! The ears are kind of dented and crushed when I received it but its a lot better after stuffing it.
Price: $5.87
My boyfriend saw this sitting in my wishlist for a few weeks so he decided to buy it for me. What a cute purse, I am not a big fan of pu leather but this purse is just too cute!!
Price: $20.89
The shirt looks really cute and I was a bit disappointed that there was a small noticeable dirt mark on it, quality is so so. It's one of those "what you pay is what you get" products.
Price: $4.48
Another cute top I got but not the best quality.
Price: $3.41
High waisted jean shorts since I was lacking one of these pieces in my closet and the price was unbelieveably cheap!
Price: $5

32 pcs Makeup Brush set Review

Hey ladies,

Finally, I can remove the 32 pcs makeup brush from my Ebay watch list since I had it on there for quite some time. So my boyfriend sometimes don't know what to get me for gifts and to help him out I gave him my eBay account info so he could access my watch list, buy the items and pay with his own PayPal account. It's not much of a surprise when I receive the item but it is when I get an email that notify me of a purchase which I didn't make. I do get really excited to open a package though!

I'm so glad my boyfriend had bought me this in pink since I did have the black colour in my watch list as well. This is ordered from China and I live in Canada so it did take some time to get here around 2-3 weeks. Then when I opened the package I was really happy that there was no strong chemical smell like some products that I order from China. I was really happy that the colour was the exact same as what was shown and everything was same as the eBay seller had advertised. The leather casing is a bit cheap and the end where the string starts have a little rip which I don't really mind.

All the brushes comes nicely packaged individually as well the brush is soft and it makes a great brush set for beginners. There's a great variety of brushes for face, blush, eyes, lips to experiment with and I still need to figure out what some brushes are for. Overall I thought it was good quality for the price. This brush set cost around $17 CAD (shipping included) at the time my bf had purchased it but I noticed lately the conversion US to Canada is more so it might be a bit more expensive.

P.S- Sorry about the bad lighting in some pictures since it makes it look purple instead of pink don't know why my phone does that!

Sensationail Pink Chiffon Review

I had previously made a post on my senationail kit I bought and this is my tester review of the product. So I had only tested 3 fingers since I didn't want to waste too much product as I work food service so I would only have a few days before I have to remove the gel polish. The first two fingers I used pink chiffon gel polish that came with the kit ( and I really love the color). On the third finger it is a different branded gel polish that I had received a sample from those beauty boxes that I used to subscribe to.

I am so glad I had bought this kit! Honestly, I think it is so worth the $60CAD that I had paid for the kit. My nails actually turned out really nice like I got them done at a salon, I will also get my money worth after doing my nails a few times. Somedays I just feel lazy to head out to get my nails done so this saves the travel time to the salon and the instructions are easy to follow. Have fun with DIY gel nail kit :)

*Update*- Added a picture of my whole hand painted  in nature lighting

L'oreal Spring 2013 Colour Riche Nail Trendsetter Collection

These are the newest spring 2013 l'oreal riche nail polish colours that I had won from a twitter contest from l'oreal. The retail price is $6.99 per bottle at shoppers drug mart in Canada. I absolutely love the colours they are so bright, bold and colourful for spring and summer seasons! This is my first time using l'oreal brand nail polish since I usually order my nail polishes from Avon for a lower price.

I find that you need 2 layers for a good smooth coverage. The drying time time are kind of long for these since I tried to do a gelly sandwich and after painting the top gel coat and curing the nail polish starts to squeeze together making weird bump. Next time I will be trying with another brand nail polish to see if it is the nail polish that just doesn't work that well in a gelly sandwich or whether I just need to wait longer for it to dry even more. Well time for me to try out more things with my new nail polishes!

Sensationail Pink Chiffon starter kit review

I'm so excited to try this product out! I recently ordered a Sensationail pink chiffon starter kit online using EBay which took 2-3 weeks to arrive from US to Canada. The reason I bought it online is because I didn't want to wait till it goes on sale and purchasing one would at retail cost $90 + 13% tax which makes it $100+... So instead I was fortunate to find a good US seller who was selling this product for $39USD+ $16USD for shipping so it came up to around $58 CAD paying with PayPal. I didn't have to pay any custom taxes so in the end it was worth the wait since I saved $40 woot! I will be making another post with a review of this product once I finish my exam so stay tuned my readers out there :)

Canada Glossybox Win 2013

Woohoo I finally received my glossybox after one month from the contest I won that was held by Trendtrunk. This is actually the second contest I won from trendtrunk! Love glossybox since it is a pretty pink box filled with 5 samples and most the boxes contain 2 full sized products and its a monthly subscription that costs $21 with shipping included.

I did unsubscribe with them since November 2012 as the prices went up from $15 to $21 which I thought was kind of pricey and I have a lot of makeup products already. It was nice after a few months when I'm getting low in samples stock I receive a nice glossybox so really happy that I got it for free. I was looking forward to get glossybox's one year birthday box though since it was prettier and it was filled with better products! Anyways I am still happy with what I received since its free and I'm able to use them.

Inside the box:

1) Wella Professional Leave-in Mousse 190g retails for $17.99 (Full size, $17.99) [Can't wait to try this out !]

2) Burt's bees milk and honey body lotion 170g retails for $12.99 ( sample size 25g, $1.91) [ Tried this once today and it seems to make my hands feel really soft, already in love with this lotion]

3) Nivea lip care 4.8g retails for $2.00 ( full size, $2.00) [ love Nivea lip balms I use their lip balms everyday]

4) Beauty So Clean wipes 48 pack retails for $12.50 (sample 12 wipes, $3.13) [I don't really use wipes ...]

5) Befine food skin care 50-150ml retails for $24-$30 (sample 5 packs 54ml, $16) [I had received this sample in the August 2012 box and I'm glad to receive this sample again as I like how they use a more natural ingredient]

Overall retail value of box: $41.03

Overall impression of samples: 4/5
I like most the product I received :)

Glymm Bag Review- February 2013

What is Glymm?
Glymm is a beauty sample box monthly subscription that includes 4-5 samples. Their monthly price is raised the to $15/month which includes free shipping. They also have 6 month or yearly subscription which gives you a discount and still includes free shipping.

I finally got my February glymm bag today in the mailbox which is the first week of march! I paid for this box January 10th but I receive it almost 2 months later... This is my third glymm bag and I noticed they are shipping out packages later and later. I hope they will fix this soon or they may be losing customers since they also raised their monthly subscription prices and their samples sizes are just the same. I have one more month of subscription with them then I'm done with glymm until I see them improve their shipment system.

Review:

Love the bag, it's really cute!!
This month's bag includes:
-lollipop
-Purely pro eye shadow
-nailuv gel nail polish
-femme couture monster gloss
-Villainess ginger snapped bar soap
-coupon for 50% of a shinyset subscription which they changed the expiry date till 3/21/13

I don't really like this months bag because I have a lot of lipgloss and I hardly use them so I will prob be giving this one away. The uv gel polish requires a uv or led light to cure it which I don't have so it's not meant for everyone. The soap doesn't smell good to me I prefer to use fruity or flowery scent. The eyeshadow seems kind of dull there's no shimmer at all. Also I don't shop at shinyset since I saw them selling a necklace for $20 and I found the exact same necklace on ebay that cost only $3 with free shipping ! Overall I don't really like the samples for this month but I definitely love the bag a lot!
